Meet Our Young Professional Board
The Peace Economy Fellowship is powered by a dynamic team of early-career leaders who bring fresh perspectives, deep commitment, and bold imagination to the work of building a more just, peaceful, and equitable world.
Our Young Professional Board is not just an advisory body, it is the driving force behind the Fellowship. As researchers, educators, organizers, artists, and advocates, board members understand both the urgency and opportunity of stepping into leadership at a formative age. We created this board to model the kind of leadership space we wish existed: one that values experimentation and collaboration as much as strategy and structure, and that centers lived experience, curiosity, and collective care.
Board members lead every aspect of the fellowship from co-designing research tracks and mentoring fellows, to managing community partnerships, and organizing public events, ensuring that our mission stays grounded in real-world impact. While the Young Professional Board leads the design and day-to-day direction of the fellowship, its work is done in close collaboration with the Peace Economy Project team and with the guidance of our main Board of Directors. This structure allows for creative autonomy within a framework of shared accountability, ensuring the program stays both innovative and aligned with PEP’s broader mission and values.
